Creating a Supportive, Sustainable Community of Farmers

Whether it’s imparting knowledge, bartering, trading, gathering, or sharing each other’s challenges, triumphs, or heartaches in the world of hobby farming; we are here to build that community.

A hobby farm, is like any other farm, only on a much smaller scale. Some have called them micro-farms. They are typically created as a hobby, however, they can be a great source of supplementary income. A hobby farm is typically less than 50 acres and is often one’s own backyard.

Get Involved

We have been a family-friendly organization since November of 2011. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant and thriving community consisting of thousands of members. We hope to expand our efforts to be able to connect with other like-minded individuals across the country. It is our goal to continue to build self-sustaining communities of hobby farmers where food, goods, and services are delivered, produced, processed, distributed, and consumed by integrating more with other nearby communities and beyond. By creating a vast network we aim to enhance the environmental, economic, social, and nutritional health of the nation.
